JJ NIELSEN IS A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY, STEPPING INTO HIS NEXT BIG CHAPTER WITH DRIVE, GRIT, AND GOOD VIBES.

After a two-sport start at the University of Hawaiʻi, JJ made the call to focus solely on baseball—his first love and biggest opportunity. He spent the summer sharpening his game with the MLB Academy Barons and now brings that same hunger and momentum to GCU.

More than an athlete, JJ leads by example—on the field, on campus, and in the content he creates.
